•	The [[Cleveland Rebels|Rebels]]’ Ed Sadowski scored the final three points in a 72-69 win over the Warriors in Cleveland

•	[[Joe Fulks]] led everyone with 21 points despite being held without a field goal for a 36-minute stretch

•	After the game, Philadelphia head coach [[Eddie Gottlieb]] lodged a protest with the league over a perceived officiating slight on a long inbounds pass to Bob Faught that resulted in a bucket.

•	Gottlieb claimed that, with time out, Riebe had taken the ball out of bounds himself and threw it in to Faught without getting a referee 
to handle it in between
