First Loss

The Warriors fell for the first time in BAA play, a 66-63 decision at the hands of the St Louis Bombers. St Louis got out to an early advantage, but the Warriors caught up and worked their way to a ten-point lead in the second quarter. The Bombers recovered and regained the lead in the third on a ten-point run by Cecil Hankins. The game was tight throughout the final period, but Aubrey Davis scored a pair of buckets in the final three minutes to bring it home for St Louis, who now had the best record in the league at 5-1.
