Warriors Drop Another Close One
The Chicago Stags started strong and closed to strong to beat the Warriors, 65-63, at the Philadelphia Arena. The Warriors led by six early in the fourth quarter but the Stags put together a 13-point run then held off a final Philadelphia charge to get the win. Jerry Fleishman started in place of scoring sensation Joe Fulks, who had a cold, but failed to score a point. Fulks came into the game late, but his ten points weren't enough to turn the tide.
