Warriors Back in the Win Column
Joe Fulks was feeling better after a bout with the common cold and was back in the starting lineup and the Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in Philadelphia, 66-54. Despite Fulks's return, the Warriors shot a colletive 4-for-21 in the first quarter before remembering where the hoop was. Angelo Musi led the way with 16 points on a night when the floor was slick due to condensation caused by the hockey ice below the court surface. The conditions took their toll late in the contest when Howie Dallmar injured his elbow in a fall and had to leave the game.
